This blog has been established for those of you who love and care about my brother, Dennis M. Rich. Dennis battled sarcoma for over two years. His strength and courage is truly inspiring. This is a piece of his story.
What a great day and a start of a great life. The saying you never know what could happen. I can't believe were all living that with the absence of Dennis. Never in a millions years would I ever think something so tragic would ever happen to my family. Even though he is not here with us I still feel like the power he left behind that he is still here with the girls and me. Also, I agree when I think of all of you it will always be 7 in my mind. Nothing could change that. Like I have said Dennis is to powerful to forget!I love you all and I love you Dennis so much, Jodi oxox
I never saw such an amazing couple in my whole life. You and Dennis complement each other so much and the love shines through. You went together better than any famous couple (like Bogie and Bacall, Garbo and Astaire. You can see in each picture the love and happiness you shared. Your time together was way too short but the love and happiness you experienced in those short years would probably never be experienced in couples who are married for fifty years. May your love, memories and happiness you shared with Dennis get you through this very sad time. Dennis is and will always be a part of you because of what you shared and he is looking down on you, your beautiful daughters and his family with such pride as you go through your daily day coping with such a great loss. He is never really gone because he will live on in all of your hearts forever. I believe Dennis is your strength when you need it the most and he will always guide and protect you from now until eternity. Jodi you are truly an amazing person and I wish I had the words to take away your pain but these emotions are the healing process and you need to expect that all these roller coaster feelings are normal and some day you will only remember the love and memories you shared and not the pain you are feeling now.
GOD BLESS AND MAY YOUR PAIN AND HEARTACHE EASE WITH EACH PASSING DAY UNTIL IT IS GONE.
It adds a whole new meaning to "IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME" I would love to go back to this time when the family was whole and happy! When my sister had a smile on her face and peace in her heart! When the people I love and care about didn't have an empty spot in their hearts, didn't know this kind of pain! But since we can't then we must live as he did.
