The last picture is priceless!! You can actually feel how much love they had for each other, so much more than a "normal" brother relationship. GREAT song! Since Dennis has passed I've learned that the saying "only the good die young" is SO TRUE!!!

These pictures are from Dennis' "Cancer Free" party. I remember Jimmy announcing he was going to run the Boston Marathon the following year and we thought he was nuts. I used to talk to Jimmy about how much he had to run while he was training and he would joke that he was hoping to get hit by a car because it was terrible.
As we all know he finished and Dennis' cancer had returned by the time the marathon came. That day my older kids and I took the train in, something I haven't done in years. It was so much fun and we all waited together in the rain. Dennis scoped out a spot in front of a bar ahead of time so everyone could drink and have fun, typical Dennis.
I wish that party was something we could have celebrated every year. I love and miss you Dennis but I know where you are you do not have what took you from us and you are healthy and handsome and always will be.
Love, Mary

It was such a amazing task for Jimmy to run a marathon. Escpicially when he was never a runner and the training had to be even harder for him. He must be even prouder of doing the marathon knowing that Dennis got to see him finish and that is was in honor of him. That was a great day and another good memory we can all look back on.It's kind of ironic that Jimmy ran a marathon in honor of Dennis because watching Dennis couragously battle cancer a little over 2 years was like watching a marathon. Dennis' strength was undescrible to witness. Truly inspiring and my # 1 hero. I love you Dennis! Jodi oxox

I love that picture of Dennis & Jimmy. They were so close their entire lives. They were eachother's other half, never just brothers. They were more than that.
Jimmy, I hope you're doing okay. I love you and I think about you every single day.

Dennis was so proud of Jimmy for running the marathon! I remember standing with him and I said oh I hope he finishes and he looked at me and smiled that big smile of his and said ofcourse he will, he never had any doubt always so supportive. I had never gone to the marathon before but I had to go and support 2 of my favorite people and I am so glad that I did. Love Auntie PAULA
