There have been alot of first's that have came up so soon since Dennis has passed. From Halloween, Dennis's birthday, Thanksgiving, & Christmas. They have all been hard but tommorrow is Mia's 2nd birthday and this one has not been sitting to well with me. You can have lots of holidays but you only have one 2 year old birthday. Dennis would be eating her up right now. Mia is at such a cute and funny stage right now. Knowing that she is only going to be 2 it pains me that Mia will truly never know that she had the most amazing man on this earth as her daddy. That's were my job and everyone close to Dennis will help to keep his memory alive. We need to talk about him, tell stories around my girls. He did not want it to be taboo to talk about him. My promise to Dennis is that our girls will never forget him and truly know him not just from pictures. That's the least I can do.Just as Dennis would want me to do. I will celebrate Mia's birthday just they way we would if Dennis was here. I know that would make him very happy. We love and miss you Dennis, Jodi & the girls oxox
Happy Birthday MiMi! Have a super fun birthday baby girl! We all love you so much. You bring so much happiness and so much laughter and when we look in your eyes, we see your Daddy. How great is that???
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIA!! I can't believe you are 2 years old today. It seems like only yesterday you were a tiny little baby. Now you are a big girl with an even bigger personality. You are so much like your daddy- so full of life, so much fun, a real crowd pleaser! Your daddy loved every minute he had with you and you will always be in his heart. I love you..Auntie Janie xoxo
Just wanted to thank all my friends and Mia'a auntie's and uncle's for all your special birthday wishes. Yesterday as I have said was the hardest for me for one of the 1st to come up.In the afternoon yesterday as I was having one of my many moments the doorbell rang. Thank god I answered the door because of my tears I almost didn't. When I got there it was a delivery woman with about 5 or 6 huge ballons for Mia. I took them in the house and I was a sight crying and could barely get them through the hallway, but I will tell you I think they cheered me up just as much as Mia was excited. Thank you Auntie Mary and Uncle Billy and the kids for sending those ballons. That is so what Dennis would have done. He is definetly smiling down on all of you. Later we had Mia's birthday cake with Auntie Janie, Kristina, Uncle Freddy, Auntie Cara, Freddy, and of course Alana and Elise. Mia seemed so happy and was covered in icecream cake just as a 2 year old would be.Thank all you guys for making it special for Mia. I definetly think Dennis sent his strength down yesterday. We love you Dennis, Jodi, Alana, Elise, & Mia oxox
