Look how little Alana and Brendan were! Now they are big stuff in the third grade! We had alot of fun times at Nana and Papa's pool.
When I think of your Daddy I remember when he was in high school, him and Uncle Jimmy would fall asleep in the lounge chairs tanning themselves. He wanted to look good when they were going out that night with their friends. Daddy always had so many friends coming over to go out. Another memory of when we were in high school, Me,Daddy, Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Erin and Auntie Kelli all worked in the same strip mall. It was funny. We were at three different stores and everyone thought our parents owned the mall. Daddy and Uncle Jimmy worked at this place called The Food Boutique. They made sandwiches and stuff like that. I would walk over to get lunch and see them. It was always comforting to see them and know they were right there. Here's something funny now but, not funny then. They would have to pick up Me or Kelli or Erin because we didn't have our licenses yet. And when we came out they would have Papa's huge work truck with work boots on and shorts(in the winter) and one of Papa's work hats pulled down to his eyes. I hope I am describing how insane he looked because it was so embarrassing and they thought they were so funny!
When Daddy was in college, he would call me to pick him up sometimes on a Friday afternoon. He would come home and Nana would wash his clothes and fill up grocery bags of food for him to take back to school. (I think that is when we started teasing Nana that he was her favorite) haha!
Wow, it seems like so long ago!
I love you, Auntie Mary
