This blog has been established for those of you who love and care about my brother, Dennis M. Rich. Dennis battled sarcoma for over two years. His strength and courage is truly inspiring. This is a piece of his story.
This picture is beautiful, great memories of good times, I know he loved going on this trip with his parents and wife.
Dennis we think of you every day. It's so hard to believe it has been 10 months now since Dennis has passed, the summer is over and the kids are all back to school, time goes by to fast, its a flash right before your eyes and you say where did the time go?
I have a story I would like to share, something small but it means alot. My daughter Morgan had been wanting to try out for the High School Volleyball Team this year well, needless to say this is her first year at high school and 30 girls were trying out but, they only needed 10 girls for the team, there were 4 days of intense try outs on the 4th day of tryouts she come out of her room with her "Hungry For Life T-Shirt" on and naturally my eyes filled up just looking at her and thinking of Dennis at the same time but, I said to her "Morgan I know you will do fine but, do not worry about it if you do not make the team, she was so nervous, I said to her I know Dennis will be watching you and you are wearing your shirt because you are hungry for life and it will show how much you want this". She just smiled.
I am please to say yes she was 1 out of the 10 that did make the team, we are so proud and thank you Dennis for teaching us to try everything and if your hungry enough for it you will succeed.
