Everytime I step out my back door I think of Dennis. That picture of he and Mike building our deck is priceless to me. He was still in finance and really wanted to start building again. It was his passion. He loved coming over our house and getting his hands dirty helping Mike build stuff. Shortly after that picture was taken he bought his first home with Jodi down the street in Wakefield..that is the 1st picture posted. He built Jodi and his girls an amazing house that they love. It was scary when they bought it but he made it into a dream house right down to the new swing set he put outside for his girls this past fall. He built the walls that surround his girls and keep them safe and I only wish he could stand inside them too. Missing you more everyday Den Love Janie xoxo
Dennis was so good to the girls and me. Everything he did was always with us in mind. He wanted the girls and me to have no worries when he was here and also even now without him here with us. Looking back now he did alot of things around our home the last year of his life and we never even knew he was not going to be with us now. Dennis was always thinking ahead and always wanted to make us feel safe and protected even after his passing. Dennis went through more up's and downs with his little over 2yr. battle with cancer and through the whole battle instead of worrying about himself he was always worrying about me and the girls, our families , and friends. When I say Dennis was amazing I don't say that lightly. He would often say I don't want everyone to worry about me or I hate that I'm making everyone worry. I hope there is a hereafter because I would love to see his face and hear that voice again. Jane, your right that our house I believe was truly built by Dennis protecting us and keeping us safe. I can't imagine us living anywhere else. This house is Dennis or at least the biggest piece that I have left of him. I miss you so much Dennis Love Jodi oxox
It is great to see pictures of Dennis on a construction site. It is the way I remember him the most. I have a lot of fun memories working with the "Metro Men" when I worked with my Dad at Master Contractors. Miss you Bud.
Dennis was an amazing man, He truly worried about everyone! His family and friends were very important to him! The company that he built with Jimmy was a dream come true, it was their passion. I know it must be hard for the guys to go to work everyday without him. I know that they worked hard but they had a lot of fun too! They used to tease each other and I know that they all loved and respected each other, I got to witness some of this when they worked on my house and the stories that they used to tell!I hope that they can bond together to get through the rough times. As Dennis would want them too! Love Auntie Paula
