I am sad to report that I have officially run out of new pics. I am happy that it has lasted as long as it has though. We started in October...it's been an astounding five months. This has been an extremely difficult time for my family and this blog has helped a lot.
For the record, I don't plan on not updating anymore, I will just be relying on all of you for new material. ☺ Between Hungry For Life Challenge photos (I'm still waiting on a few), Team Hungry For Life updates, updates on the kids, etcetera-- there will always be new, interesting and uplifting material. This blog will never stop, but inevitably it will slow down a bit.
This week I have decided to run a "Best Of" week, meaning I will be re-posting some of my personal favorites. I am going to be digging deep into the archives-- as you all know there are a lot of great ones to choose from.
If anyone has any requests or personal favorites, let me know. I am open to all suggestions.
Take care and thanks for sticking with us through this difficult time.

Hi Katie,
You have done an awesome job on Dennis' blog. I always wear my Hungry for Life Bracelet and one of my sisters asked me what was this for. I explained the reason behind the bracelet and she was also touched by Dennis'story. I told her to check out his blog. When I saw her in church yesterday she mentioned to me that she did visit Dennis' blog and was so inspired and touched by Dennis' story she has decided she wants to join the walk in honor of Dennis. She too said what a beautiful wife, children and family he has. I told her he sure does.
Dennis is so special he keeps touching people's lives even in death. I wish I was lucky enough to have know him personally but somehow from this blog I somehow feel like I do. YOU ARE A GREAT FAMILY AND I KNOW DENNIS IS SO PROUD OF EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AND HOW YOU ARE KEEPING HIS MEMORY ALIVE.

Phyllis,
I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's people like you who have helped us through this tragedy. It's been a difficult journey and it's far from over for me and my family. We are still in so much pain and as Katie said, this blog means the world to us. It has truly helped us cope the first days, weeks and now months after Dennis' passing. I hope it remains as powerful into the future.
I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to check in and leave comments and stories. No matter the length or depth, it's nice to know that you are out there and that Dennis has touched your lives too. It has helped my family heal and continues to. Thank you so much!
Katie, Gina C. from Beachmont, I sent Tommy Rossi a whole packet of pictures from when Dennis and I were in Beachmont school together. He was going to scan them to you because I don't have the computer equipment to do so. So I'm gonna get on him about sending those to you. Don't worry we'll get you some new photos. Gina
You have done such an amazing job on this blog, Katie!! Dennis is smiling down to you I'm sure and is VERY impressed!!!
Love,
Your cousin, Debbie
Kelli,
Thank you and your family for sharing Dennis' amazing story. Even though it can be incredibily sad because the world has lost such a great person it is so inspiring to know that there are genuine good people out there with so much love and giveness in their hearts. This blog will remain powerful now and for years to come because of who Dennis was and how his wife and children will carry on his legacy. I keep saying it but you and your family are truly amazing of how much love, compassion and caring there is in each of you. It is rare in this world today. Your parents deserve so much credit for raising a large family and everyone of you turning out great. I wish your family a future with nothing but true happiness, peace and contentment. You all deserve that much. And please know Dennis is with you and so proud and will be forever.
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.
Phyllis
