This blog has been established for those of you who love and care about my brother, Dennis M. Rich. Dennis battled sarcoma for over two years. His strength and courage is truly inspiring. This is a piece of his story.
I remember the two different times Dennis took the girls out to the movies and came home with the photo booth pictures. They loved those pictures of them and their daddy. When they got home they put them right on the fridge. Dennis loved that they truly had so much fun with him. He was more like an idol to them not just a daddy. One of those picture's Dennis just got the news that his cancer had returned. I remember it was a pretty tough weekend mentally for all of us, but again Dennis' strength pulled us through. Instead of feeling sorry for himself which he had every reason to. Dennis was more determined than ever to create more memories than ever with his girls. He remained positive but must of knew that things might get tougher with the cancer returning. So one of the first things he did was take Alana and Elise out to have a fun time with their daddy. Espically the last year it was all about creating memories as a family for Dennis. I'm so glad he was thinking ahead because of that the girls and me have the photo booth picture's with Dennis and so many more. I am more determined then ever to hang more and more pictures of our beautiful memories as a family all around our house. I know Dennis would love that and the more pictures the better. We love you so much Dennis, Love, Jodi & the girls oxox
Wow these pictures showed the true side of Dennis The "happy to be Dad" side! He truly loved his girls and nothing made him happier than spending time with his girls. Love You, Auntie Paula
