Mia's 2nd Birthday
These pictures are from Mia's second birthday in December 2007.
I am so thankful at this difficult time that I have my girls. As hard as it is some days to be the only parent for my girls now. They give me a reason to get out of bed everyday because to be honest if Dennis and me never had kids. I'm not sure if I would keep going the way I am everyday for my girls. I always felt that everytime Dennis and I had a new baby that we were given a gift but I'm certainly finding out how much of a gift our three girls are. As painful as it is watching our girls do something new or cute everyday and of course I'm thinking that Dennis should be here to see all of this and it is so unfair. The next thought that runs through my head is that these three little girls are going to help their mommy get through this and I think Dennis knew that they would. When I was 3 months pregnact with Mia and that was when Dennis first found out that he had cancer. We couldn't understand why we would get such devastating news and then on the other hand we we're supposed to be happy about bringing a new little baby into this world. When the future for us was so uncertain. We'll I know because Mia brought so much joy especially to Dennis and he most certainly needed it the last couple of years. Alana, Elise, & Mia were always such bright lights to Dennis and me through his couragerous battle and they continue to be for me. We love you Dennis, Jodi & the girls oxox
