This blog has been established for those of you who love and care about my brother, Dennis M. Rich. Dennis battled sarcoma for over two years. His strength and courage is truly inspiring. This is a piece of his story.

These are nice pics. That third one down is of Dennis, Jodi and the girls at the hospital waiting ALL night for Katie to give birth to Rex, her first born. I think Dennis must have known how special a day it was for her, that's just how he was. We all waited for hours making sure everything turned out fine and it did. Katie still talks about the standing ovation she got as she was wheeled by that waiting room. Dennis was yelling, cheering her on, we all were. It was a special moment.
I will ALWAYS remember getting wheeled by this group in a stretcher on my way to a c-section, and seeing everyone (Dennis' beaming face) cheering me on as I went by. I felt like I was in a marathon or something. It meant a lot that you guys were there for me that night.
