This picture is from our Wedding. Jeannie and David were an usher and a bridesmaid. I feel like it was yesterday Dennis and me were married. Such a happy time in our lives. Life back then seems so simple to me now. Dennis and me didn't have a worry in the world back then. I've said it time and time again. If I knew what I know now. As sad and devastated as I feel. I still would marry Dennis all over again. He was so worth it. - Jeannie you were a great sister to Dennis. He loved you very much. Thank you for being part of our wedding. I Love You Jodi oxox - David, I just wanted to thank you for being there for Dennis and me the last few weeks in the hospital and also thank Kristen and Dawson for giving up so much time with you so you could be there for Dennis. I will never forget it. Dennis and you had a extra special friendship. You guys understood each other. He loved hanging out with you. Even up until the last few weeks. When he wasn't feeling so well. Dennis still was always happy to see you. Sometimes don't you wish we were still going to the hospital to visit Dennis? I miss him so much. Thanks again Dave for everything.- Love Jodi oxox
I remember being in the hospital and watching Dennis smile and joke with David it made me smile to see what a great bond that they had and I was thankful that you were there for him because you and all of his friends made him happy in his darkest days. Thank You so much. Love Auntie Paula
David, You were a true friend to my brother. You (& Donald) were there for Dennis until the end. It wasn't easy, it was a horrible time in our lives. I will always respect and love you guys for that. You two were there at the hospital EVERY time I was. When I'd arrive, David was usually sitting there w/ Dennis and as I'd be leaving late at night, Donald would be arriving for his overnight shift, ready and willing to do whatever it was that Dennis needed. You are both brave, loyal, true friends and we all know how much you loved Dennis and how much he loved you. There are so many people that were there for Dennis:Jimmy & Jodi of course, Jane, Uncle Ritchie, Uncle Jimmy, cousin Johnny...and so many more. You guys did whatever it took for Dennis to feel comfortable, safe and loved.
We miss him so much and the pain has only gotten worse over time. My family is sronger through all this but we are in so much pain. Dennis was such an important part of our lives and it's really hard right now w/out him. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write comments or send pictures to the blog. We all use this as a way to cope w/ our huge loss. It helps us through our days. It helps us to remember all the good times and it's so good to see his face and to see his smile and to hear that we have so many people behind us, praying for us.
