Today is a particularly hard day. Today is Dennis' 39th birthday.
Birthdays are about wishes. I wish that Alana, Elise, and Mia always remember that their Daddy was a fighter and that he never gave up.

Every birthday and holiday are harder days but, think of Dennis today and I know he is looking down on all of you. My kids send a few balloons up to heaven on my Dad's birthday. In my perfect world I wish that the kids and I were suprising daddy with a birthday cake when he got home from work. We miss him so much. I have to remember what Dennis would do(thanks Dave!) he would make it fun for the kids still and put the brave face on. The kids and I and Auntie Janie are going to the cementary to visit daddy with some birthday notes in some balloons. Today i cried because uncle Dennis wasn't here for his own birthday.
I know Uncle Dennis wouldn't want me to cry for him, because thats the kind of person he was. He didn't want people to feel sorry for him, he just wanted to make the most of his limited time on earth. Happy birthday Uncle Dennis! I love you!
