I was one the guys in the paintball pics posted yesterday. I have been trying to find the right words so that I could poste something about my friend. A story etc. We went a couple of times over a 2 or 3 year span. That picture was taking in the Fall of 1998 up in NH. Dennis organized this trip which was his friends from home(Revere) and some work buddies(PaineWebber Financial Services). I remember this particular day very well. I knocked Dennis out of the first game & knowing how compettive Dennis was, I knew I would be seeing him again real soon. So in the second game Dennis shot me between my the legs point blank range, if you know what I mean to knock me out of the second game. I wasn't the same all day after that. I remember him laughing his butt off that day. I remeber it like it was yesterday, Dennis's big old coolaid smile. Dennis and I formed a Fantasy Football League back in 1998 in which Dennis had his team up until last week. The one thing that I can say about Dennis is that he was a man's man. As competive as any but as unselfish and LOYAL a friend as I have ever met. Jimmy mentioned to me last week that a couple of days before he passed he wanted Jimmy to get in touch with me to set his line-up. Never the quiter are you surprised. In memory of my friend our Fantasy Football League(The Degenerate Gamblers FFL) will donate all transaction cost from the FFL this season which should amount to around $2000- in which I will match $ for $ to go to the girls trust.(Should be around $4G's) There has not been a day that has gone by since hearing that my friend had left us that I have not looked at this site and thought, laughed, got ckoked up about Dennis, Jimmy, Jodi & the girls. Dennis has left a legacy with all who had the PRIVALAGE to know him that will last forever. I wonder everyday why Dennis, who was a caring husband , great dad, hard working & friend to us all leave us so soon with so many dirtbags out there. Why this great guy? Maybe i'm selfish but it just doesn't make any sense to me.
God bless you brother!

I remember the night that Dennis, Jodi, Mike and I went to a Halloween party at the Knights of Columbus in Wilmington ( my cousin Ali and her friends threw it) Dennis and Jodi were pimps, Mike was a prisoner and I was a cop. 4 sights for sore eyes driving thru that nice little community!! They were so proud to be matching pimps. Never have I seen 2 grown ups love Halloween more. We danced all night and had a blast. I will never forget my bro-in-law getting my back when I heard a Rod Stewart song and yelled out "Oh my god I love this song-let's dance-follow me!" Now you have to know that my cousin and her friends are about 10 years younger than me and didn't appreciate where I was coming from with the song. Needless to say-
NO ONE followed me and as I stood alone on the dance floor looking like a complete loser in my cop costume- there came Dennis (pimp suit- cane and all) to my rescue. We both danced alone and just for me he pretended he liked the song!!
That is what I call a loyal friend-
Hope you are dancing in Heaven Den
