Football Memories

Dennis' friend Freddy sent me the above picture accompanied by an article from the newspaper.
For all you football fans, the article reads: ...Revere's defense held Brookline to a mere 54 yards total offense, including minus 13 yards rushing. The key was shifting Dennis Rich from linebacker to nose guard, where he probably became the lightest ever to play so well at that position. Rich weighs 135 pounds soaking wet. "The key to our defense was putting Rich on top of their center," Miller noted. "We stunted him right or left, depending on the call. He loves to do that and did the job for us today. Murphy and (Fred) Cinelli played string on defense, but everybody had a good game on defense for us."
Dennis got Player of the Game that day. He'd be just as proud today as he was back then.
