This blog has been established for those of you who love and care about my brother, Dennis M. Rich. Dennis battled sarcoma for over two years. His strength and courage is truly inspiring. This is a piece of his story.
Love all these pics, but in that second one, he's just so handsome. You can see so much happiness in that smile of his. He had it all, he really did. Den~you are SO missed.
Dennis was like I have said such a awesome dad and more importantly a fun dad. What teared him apart more than anything was when things were getting tougher for him. He would say to me. What I would give if someone said to me if you sign on the dotted line. You will live til your 50. I would say to Dennis, Your 38 that's not alot of time and lets not talk about these things, you'll be fine. He would reply, Jodi, I'll take what ever I can get to at least see more of my girls grow up and that's all I think about and matters to me. I want them to know their daddy loved them very much and would never just leave them. I will always tell Alana, Elise, & Mia that their daddy fought harder than anyone I know to stay in this world for them and that their daddy would never just leave them, he was taken. That's my promise to Dennis I will always remind them how much their daddy loved them. When the girls get older I know Dennis would have been known by all their friends as the cool dad. He would of just loved that. I miss you so much Dennis, Love Jodi oxox
Jodi, Thank you so much for carrying on Dennis' dream. You know that he would have been the coolest Dad to all of the girls friends, He would have been the Dad that every other girl would have wanted their Daddy to be just like! The most fun, the most handsome and the hip dad! Alana, Elise and Mia know that your Dad loves you so much that he would never have done anything to hurt you! if he had a choice to be here he would be.He would have given anything for it , Always know that he is with you, always in your hearts.
