Savor Life

Hi Katie,
...It was just this past Friday night that you mentioned the idea of the bracelet for Dennis. I believe it was because you felt that he was just as deserving as Lance Armstrong. We all agreed that he is more deserving. In less than 24 hours you have done such an incredible job honoring your brother. Over the years I have often heard Dennis say that he "loved life" so it wasn’t surprising to me when Jodi said he told her he was still “HUNGRY FOR LIFE” right before his surgery two weeks ago.
It has been these 3 words that have helped to keep Jodi going these past two weeks. I am sure that these 3 words have also kept Dennis going these past two years. Just last week when I was standing in his room, he wrote a note to me. It read “I want people to know that they should savor life-- they should count their blessings. They shouldn’t complain about the little things.” I said, “Dennis, I don’t know anyone who savors life more than you, and you NEVER complain about the little things.” He shook his head in agreement!
All of us that know Dennis can understand why he is such an inspiration. There is no one stronger than Dennis. Just watch how many bracelets you sell!

Love, Jane (Bossi)
